Eric works as a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at Communication and Multimedia Studies and coordinator of the Future Design Factory at NHL Stenden University of Applied Science. He is the Founder of TEDxFryslan.
His personal ambition is to show the industry how students are thinking about wicked problems and how they want to solve them. Together we create a better Future!

Ilse works as a team leader at Leisure & Events Management Studies at the NHL Stenden University of Applied Science. She has over 10 years of experience in the event industry in Europe and Asia.
Her personal ambition is to make students connect theory with practice to lift the industry to another level, by using events as a strategic goal. Ilse admires gaining different perspectives through being inspired by other people and their experiences. For her, it is important to bring people together and to connect to them.
Victoria Snouck Hurgronje – Chairwoman of the board of TEDxNHLStendenUniversity
Victoria Westra-Snouck Hurgronje is Sustainability Advisor at NHL Stenden. With her experience in the hotel industry, marketing, communication, and procurement, she has been fully dedicated to sustainability in higher education since 2021. As the driver of the sustainability movement Green Wave within NHL Stenden, she promotes Green Thinking. This means that every step, no matter how small, is one towards a more sustainable world for the next generation. From practical recycling solutions to in-depth research and policymaking, Victoria brings infectious enthusiasm and great ideas to move towards an increasingly sustainable university.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDxZwolle, live speakers will spark deep discussion and connection. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organised.
